Joan Albertine (Pepin) Healey, 81, of 66 Hillcrest Avenue, died suddenly on May 24, 2002 at Catholic Medical Center. She was born in Manchester on June 12, 1920, the daughter of Ernest A. and Rose (Hodgkin) Pepin and had been a lifelong resident of the city. She attended local schools. She had worked for the City of Manchester School Department in the cafeteria at West High School for ten years until she retired. Prior to that, she had worked at U.S. Rubber and Syntex companies. She was a parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church and was a member of the Altar Rosary Society of Blessed Sacrament. She was a volunteer at the Elliot Hospital, a member of the RSVP and AARP of St. Theresa Church. She was on the bowling league at Lakeside Lanes, a member of the West Side Center and was an active participant in the community. She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Chester A. Healey who died on April 2 this year. Family members include two sons, Roger A. Healey of Hilton Head Island, SC and Jonathan M. Healey of Hooksett; a daughter, Kathleen T. Collanzo of Manchester; six grandchildren and one great grandson; a sister, Mrs. Pauline Trinity of Hooksett and several nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday morning at 9:00 AM in Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
