Joan A. Lavoie

Joan A. (Lessieur) Lavoie, 69, of Lee, formerly of Manchester, passed away at Wentworth Douglas Hospital in Dover on March 14, 2024.

She was born in Manchester on April 3, 1954, the daughter of the late William and Theresa (Poisson) Lessieur. She has worked for over 50 years as a hairdresser and owned and operated Cut N Go Depot salon. 

Family members include her husband of 27 years, Philip Lavoie; her son, Jason Fortier and his fiancé Sarah Michalak of Manchester; her daughter, Sandra Owen and her husband Richard of VA; a stepson Brandon Lavoie of CA; three grandchildren, Sarah, David and Abigail; a great grandson, Leam; a brother, Steven Lessieur and his wife Pamela of Manchester; a sister, Donna Owen and her husband Ted of FL; and nephews, nieces, and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 22^nd at 10AM in St. Anthony Church. Committal services will follow in St. Augustin Cemetery.
