Joan Patricia Pariseau, cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, passed away April 15, 2026 at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home in Goffstown, NH at the age of 88 after a period of declining health.
Joan was born on February 27,1938 in Manchester to the late George and Yvonne (Heymans) Brousseau. She went on to marry her high school sweetheart, Jack Pariseau, with whom she shared 68 years of marriage.
Joan graduated from Manchester High School West in 1956 and married Jack soon after graduation. She held various part-time jobs while raising their three children. She enjoyed many fun summers camping at York Beach, Maine as well as traveling to many destinations. She loved to host family gatherings, crocheting, knitting, ceramics and sewing beautiful quilts. Joan could never pass a gift shop without stopping in to find a special trinket or two. A lover of dogs and cats, she always had a home for her special furry pets.
Joan was predeceased by her beloved husband Jack and son Gary Pariseau. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Blair and her husband Scott, her son Jack Pariseau II and wife Barbara, her granddaughters Courtney, Ashley, Brittany and step granddaughter Kara, and eleven great grandchildren; Brayden, Cameron, Jackson, Maxwell, Maeve, Grace, Eleanor, Samantha, Emmet, Ellie and Cooper, as well as extended family and friends.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, 4/20/2026, from 9:30am to 11:00am at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue, Manchester, NH, 03102. A service will be held from 11:00am to 12:00pm, with a cemetery committal service to follow at 12:30pm at Pine Grove Cemetery, 765 Brown Avenue, Manchester, NH, 03103.
The family would like to extend their deepest appreciation for the care and compassion extended to Joan by the staff at the skilled care unit at Hillsborough County Nursing Home, as well as the Villager Retirement Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hillsborough County Nursing Home activity fund or the Villager Retirement Home activity fund, both located in Goffstown, NH.
