Joan "Joni" Marie Terry

Joan (Joni) Marie Terry, 65, of Loudon, NH died suddenly on Thursday, July 20th after suffering a heart attack.

Joni was born in Winthrop, MA on September 12, 1951 to the late Nicholas and Louise (Mangan) Del Greco. She resided with her family in East Boston for many years and attended Fitton Catholic School (now Central Catholic School). She worked in various office administrative positions, but served as a paralegal for a prestigious law firm in Boston for several years. Joni moved to New Hampshire roughly 15 years ago and settled in the Concord area. While living in NH, she became a valued staff member at Riverbend Community Mental Health in Concord where she spent nearly a decade as an Administrative Assistant.
Joni had many talents. She was an accomplished seamstress, crafting exquisite wedding and prom gowns, Holy Communion dresses and costumes for her nieces, elegant draperies, and countless beautiful garments. She also had an intense passion for music and could not be defeated when challenged with the name of a song, the artist and even the year it was released. At a very early age, Joni began to sketch fashion designs which became her full-time hobby. She could have become an incredible fashion designer with the level of passion she displayed. As Joni grew older, she adopted a love for gardening, traveling and bird watching, and found an even deeper and more rewarding hunger in serving Christ. She was a devoted Christian and cherished member of Faith Community Bible Church in Loudon where she served as a Religious Education teacher and choir member. She lived her life as a beautiful light for the Lord. Tirelessly dedicated to her family, parish family, and friends, Joni could always be counted on for her infectious smile and positive outlook. She was always there for anyone in need. No words can express how terribly she will be missed by all whose lives she touched.

Joan is survived by her sisters, Shelly Goulet and husband Greg of Boxford, MA and Kathy Del Greco of Littleton, MA; her brother John Del Greco and his wife Karen of Melrose, MA; her beloved nieces, Carolyn Cassetina and Julie Cassetina, both of Watertown, MA, and Allie Goulet of New York City; her beloved nephews Miles Del Greco and Griffin Del Greco, both of Melrose, MA; and numerous cherished friends.
