JoAnn L. Lemay, 64, of Auburn, NH died peacefully in her sleep surrounded by family on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at her home.
JoAnn was born on March 12, 1957, in Manchester, NH, the daughter of Paul and Lorraine (Mailloux) Croteau.
JoAnn was employed by the State of NH as a Clerk of Court for Auburn and Candia
District Courts. Since retirement she enjoyed spending time with family and many trips to the Caribbean.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Mark T. Lemay, of Auburn, NH; two daughters, Heather Powers and her husband, John of Wakefield, NH; Sandra Nugent, of Auburn, NH and her significant other Donald Turgeon; a son, Steven R. Lemay of Laconia, NH; four grandchildren, Mackenzie, Aidan, Hazel and Brody; one brother, Paul Croteau and his wife Patty Drouin, of Candia, NH; a sister, Linda Croteau and her wife Dee Jones of Doylestown, PA; several nieces and nephews. JoAnn was predeceased by two sisters, Suzanne and Debra.
SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 30, 2021, 10 AM at St. Peter Church, 567 Manchester Road in Auburn, NH. Committal prayers and interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Manchester.
