Joanne T. Hudon

April 17, 1943 — October 28, 2024

Allenstown, NH

Joanne Hudon, formerly of Litchfield, NH, passed away unexpectedly on October 28, 2024. Born in Manchester to Shafeeh Attalla and Jeannette (Ziady), Joanne was a bright light in the lives of all who knew her. She was married to Ed Hudon for nearly 60 years, and his passing in 2021 left an emptiness in her heart.

Joanne is survived by her loving sisters, Dolores Willey (and predeceased brother-in-law Chuck Willey) and Lory Attalla, Lory's husband, William Lemear, along with her brother, Gary Attalla, and his wife, Nancy. She also leaves behind her cherished niece, Summer Heath, and her husband, Tanner, as well as their children, Rayna and Quincy, who brought her immense joy. Joanne held a special place in her heart for Ed’s sisters, nieces and nephews, often filling Christmas Eve with laughter and games.

With a zest for life and an uplifting spirit, Joanne faced her health challenges with resilience. A proud graduate of Memorial High School and Hesser College, she recently enjoyed reconnecting with her high school friends, Gayle and Pat. Joanne began her career at New Hampshire Insurance and later dedicated herself to the Manchester Airport, where she witnessed its remarkable growth until her retirement.

A talented craftsperson, Joanne loved crocheting, sewing, and painting glassware, always with a project in hand. She cherished entertaining family and friends and supported Ed's passions, including his involvement with the Manchester Motorcycle Club. Together, they traveled extensively in their motorhome.

Joanne's spirit and creativity touched the lives of many, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
