Joanne (Mansell) (Quattrucci) Lambert passed away on Tuesday, May 10 at the Elliot Hospital with her loving children by her side in Manchester, N.H.
Joanne was born in Portland, ME on December 4, 1931 and was brought up as a foster child. She graduated from Portland High School after attending Cathedral High for 3 years, and attended the University of Maine.
Joanne worked at Eastern Book Co. on India St. in Portland. She was married in 1953 to John J. Quattrucci of Portland, ME. Joanne worked in and around the Portland area doing private duty nursing. In 1971, she remarried to Richard A. Lambert. Joanne lived in Steep Falls (Standish), Maine for a few years before moving to Center Barnstead, NH in 1978. She managed a home for the elderly and developmentally disabled for 15 years. Upon retiring she moved to Port Charlotte, FL for 3 years and then returned to NH to be near her children. Joanne was an excellent cook who always enjoyed making special meals for her family. She was an avid collector of dolls and teddy bears. She loved to go shopping, especially for clothing. She will forever be remembered as a people person, always enjoying time spent with family and friends. She especially loved spending quality time with her grandchildren as they were growing up.
Joanne leaves nine children, Suzanne Quattrucci, Las Vegas, Nevada, Laurie Quattrucci of Windham, ME, Gennaro Quattrucci and his wife Vicki of N.Waterboro, ME, Bernadette Elliott and her husband, Charles of Gardiner, ME, Teresa Ripley and her husband Harry of Buxton, ME, Gene Quattrucci and his wife Lucy of Hudson, NH, Jenette Quattrucci Riel and her husband David of Warren, NH, John Quattrucci and his wife Kendra of Litchfield, NH and Peter Quattrucci and his wife Joan of Manchester, NH. Joanne leaves 18 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
