Joanne S. Lenas

Joanne S. Lenas, (former Walega) 69, of Rochester, NH died on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Birch Healthcare, in Rochester, NH.  

Ms. Lenas was born on December 29, 1954. 

Prior to her retirement, Ms. Lenas worked in housekeeping at McKerley’s Health Care Center. 

She loved to cook for her family. 

Members of her family include; her son, Daniel Walega, daughter in law, Lety and 3 grandkids, Jazmin, Samantha and Joshua Walega of Tampa, FL; a daughter, Karen Kachel of Methuen, MA; and fourth grandchild, James Kachel. She had fond memories of her brother, Tommy Lenas who passed away over a decade ago.   

SERVICES: A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, June 10, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, in Manchester.
