Joanne Patistas, 29, of 353 Merrimack Street, died suddenly April 23, 2000, at the Elliot Hospital. She was born in Manchester, NH on January 13, 1971, the daughter of Pantelis and Beverly (Daniels) Patistas, Sr., and had been a lifelong resident of the Queen City. She was a graduate of Memorial High School Class of 1988, a graduate of Hesser College and was currently employed by the NH State Department of Transportation and also Hadco Industries in Derry. Family members include her parents of Manchester, a brother, Pantelis ''Peter'' Patistas, Jr., of Hudson, two sisters, Mrs. William (Debbie) Orcutt of S. Burlington, Vt., and Mrs. Kenneth (Brenda) Thorpe of Manchester, her grandmother, Mrs. Doris (Murdo) Daniels of Manchester, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Her long time companion Thomas Barry of Manchester, NH. SERVICES: Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Wednesday evening from 6 to 9. A service will be at the funeral home Thursday morning at 10 o'clock. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Donations may be made in her memory to a charity of one's choice.
