Jodie A. Gibson, 49, of Concord, formerly of Manchester, passed away on October 27, 2010 at the Elliot Hospital.
She was born in Manchester on July 29, 1961, the daughter of William and Jennie (Wojtowic) Gibson Jr. and had lived in the city for most of her life before moving to Concord ten years ago. She had worked for Hanover Hill Nursing Home as an LNA. She loved taking mini trips to Foxwoods, watching horror movies and playing computer and board games. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Katrina M. Guyer in 2009.
In Her Life: Family members include her daughter, Bobbiejo Guyer of Manchester; three grandchildren, Mia, Alyssa and Damon; her mother of Manchester; two brothers, William Gibson, and Donald Gibson and his wife Heather, all of Manchester; three sisters, Debra Hubbard and her husband Dennis, Sandra Tremblay and her husband Norman, and Nelia Gibson, all of Manchester; two Godchildren, Tanya Young and Caegin Gibson; her long time companion Mark Spaulding; her best friend, Brenda Fintonis; and nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts and cousins.
Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Monday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with a funeral service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 PM.
