She was born on June 30, 1956, in Haverhill, NH, to Natalie G. (Findley) Bean and Robert Bean, both of Lisbon, NH. She graduated with honors from Lisbon High School in 1974. She attended Hesser College and received an associate degree in 1979. She worked at the White Mountain School and with various Littleton-area attorneys, such as Michael M. Ransmeier, Mark C. Russell, and Samaha Russell Hodgdon PA. She worked in the legal field for over 35 years. She was very dedicated and proud of her work.
With her ex-husband, Mark Labrecque, they raised two daughters, Joelle and Lindsay, the loves of her life. She was an avid animal lover and adopted various dogs and cats over the years and was proud of spoiling them as much as possible. She was a fantastic athlete and particularly loved catching for her sister Kimmy on the softball field. She loved to visit both of her daughters and enjoyed going to a Broadway show in New York City as much as she did exploring the Colorado mountains. She was a fierce advocate for women’s rights and equality. She loved the magic of Christmas and was a master at making everyone feel loved and included.
Jody leaves behind her daughters, Joelle Labrecque and Lindsay Labrecque, and Joelle’s husband, Mauricio Serrano, and Lindsay’s husband and daughter, Seth and Juniper Josephs. Jody is also survived by her siblings Roberta Hannaford, Ramona Raynor and her husband, Ray, and their child, Kendra Rocha, Kimmy Lavoie and her husband, Glenn, and their daughters Kally and Hannah Lavoie, and Jerralyn Welch and her daughter Jessenia Welch.
