John Francis Albert

John Francis Albert, 52, died on Friday, November 24, 2023 at Concord Hospital in Concord. He was born on February 8, 1971, son of Francis J. and Jeannette E. (Cormier) Albert.

John was a graduate of Merrimack High School.  He worked for Ramada Inn, and was also involved with the Moore Center and Easter Seals.

John was proud of his participation in the Special Olympics, having won many ribbons, plaques, and setting records in cross country skiing, basketball, bowling, and swimming.  He also enjoyed dancing, quad/4-wheeling, as well as fishing and boating with his dad and David. John was happy to help out with stacking wood, raking leaves, shoveling the walk, and much more whenever needed.

He was always the life of the party, making friends wherever he went. He will be greatly missed by all who crossed his path.

Along with his parents, Francis and Jeannette of Franklin, he is survived by his sister, Linda J. (Albert) Nave of Meredith; brother-in-law, Jim A. Nave of Meredith; niece, Amanda J. (Allen) Bean and husband Clyde of Center Ossipee; great-nephew, Lucas James Bean of Center Ossipee; as well as many cousins, aunts and uncles. 

SERVICES: A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 4, 2023, 2pm, at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 172 King Street in Boscawen.  Interment will follow at NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen at 3pm. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
