John P. Beauvais

John P. Beauvais, 75, died May 24, 2007 at his home, after a long valiant battle with cancer. He was born in Haverhill, MA on August 30, 1931, the son of John P. and Lena (Bellemare) Beauvais. Mr. Beauvais was a Korean War veteran having served in the United States Army. For 35 years, Paul & his wife Yvonne own/operated The Little Red Doll House at Beauvais Castle creating New Hampshire’s miniature fairy tale land. He was a parishioner of St. Lawrence Church in Goffstown. Family members include his wife of 55 years of Goffstown Yvonne (Tremblay) Beauvais; one son Daniel Beauvais of New Durham, NH ; one daughter Phyllis Capers of Manchester; six grandchildren ; five brothers George Beauvais of North Carolina, Ralph Beauvais of West Virginia, Richard Beauvais of Hooksett, NH , William Beauvais and Noel Taylor both of Goffstown, NH; three sisters, Sr. (Mary Rose) Phyllis Beauvais of The Precious Blood Monastery, Manchester; Nancy Beauvais and Suzanne Michaud both of Florida; many nieces, nephews , uncles and aunts. In his Life: He enjoyed working in his flower garden and his passion was playing golf and spending time with his family. Including his son-in-law Dick who was like a son to him. Mr. Beauvais was predeceased by two sisters Patricia Robichaud and Betty Smith. A Memorial Service will take place on Tuesday at 10 AM in St. Lawrence Church in Goffstown. Burial will follow at 2 PM at The New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Sisters of the Precious Blood Monastery, ATTN: Sister Mary Rose, 700 Bridge Street, Manchester, NH 03104, in memory of Mr. Beauvais.
