JOHN F. CRESTA
CANDIA – John F. Cresta, 83, died on Friday, March 29, 2013, at Mt. Carmel Nursing Home, in Manchester.
Mr. Cresta was born on January 2, 1930, in Cambridge, MA, the son of the late Anthony and Emma (Cafiero) Cresta.
He was a veteran and served in the United States Navy during the Korean War.
Prior to retirement, Mr. Cresta was employed as a tool & die maker and worked for Strafco Tool & Die Manufacturing.
Members of his family include; his wife of 57 years, Margaret (Flynn) Cresta, of Candia, NH; three sons, Anthony Cresta and his wife Andrea, of Florida; James and Kevin Cresta, both of Candia, NH; three daughters, Denise Cresta, of Candia, NH; Cheryl Cresta, of W. Haven, CT; Mary Ebert and her husband Arthur of Pembroke, NH; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 4, 2013, 12:00 Noon, at St. Catherine Church, 207 Hemlock Street, in Manchester. Committal prayers and military honors to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, in Manchester.
