JOHN E. DANIELS MANCHESTER – John E. Daniels, 60, died Friday, May 30, 2008 at Concord Hospital, in Concord, NH. Mr. Daniels was born on October 4, 1947, in Goffstown, NH, the son of John and Doris (Murdo) Daniels. He was a resident of Manchester. He worked as a self employed carpenter/roofer. Mr. Daniels was a member of the Workman's Club and the Canadian Club. He enjoyed outdoor activities which include; camping, fishing and gardening. Other interests include; baseball, basketball and bowling. Mr. Daniels also enjoyed drawing. Members of his family include; his son, John E. Daniels, Jr., of Chichester, NH; 3 daughters, Charlene M. Cassidy, of Bedford; Penny A. LaPlante, of Chichester; Michelle D. LaChapelle, of Palm Coast, FL; 13 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 1 brother, David Daniels, of Manchester; 4 sisters, Irene LaChapelle, of Manchester; Barbara Holdsworth, of Londonderry; Nancy Violette, and Beverly Patistas, both of Manchester; many nieces and nephews. SERVICES: Relatives and friends are kindly welcome to attend a memorial gathering on Thursday, June 5, from 11:00 – 12Noon at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street, corner of Union Street, in Manchester. A celebration of life service will follow at 12 Noon in the chapel. It has been suggested that those who wish may make memorial gifts to The American Cancer Society, 2 Commerce Drive, Suite 110, Bedford, NH 03110, in memory of Mr. Daniels.
