John P. Dyer, age 66, of Northfield, NH passed peacefully in his sleep on February 2, 2024.
John was born on September 27, 1957 in Fort Knox, Kentucky to Fred and Violet (Steffon) Dyer. A self proclaimed “army brat” they moved around frequently before settling in Franklin, NH. John attended Franklin High School, graduating in 1975. Following graduation he enlisted in the US Army, where he was stationed in Ft. Drum, NY. After being honorably discharged he returned to New Hampshire, working several jobs before starting his 35+ year career at Watts Water Technologies. Some of his fondest memories were the times spent with friends and coworkers at Watts, they were really a second family to him.
John would tell you his greatest achievement in life was his children. Anyone who knew him knew his love for them. He used to say it was the best job he ever had. And that love and pride continued into the role of grandfather to his two granddaughters. Nothing brought him more joy in life than family.
John was predeceased by his parents, Fred and Violet (Steffon) Dyer.
He is survived by his two daughters, Ashley Roberts and Courtney Dyer; his son, Keegan Dyer; granddaughters, Adriana and Cordelia; sisters, Lorraine Hoyt, Sharon Nadon and Carolyn Desrosiers; as well as several nieces and nephews.
