John R. Hangen

John R. Hangen, 83, of Florida died March 9, 2004 at the Miami Jewish Home and Hospital, Miami, Florida. He was born in New York, NY the son of Jacob and Irene (Murphy) Hangen and had been a resident of Florida for the past 30 years. He loved golfing and boating. Mr. Hangen was a WW II Navy Veteran. He was employed for many years with the Plumbers Local # 1. Family members include his wife of 62 years, Helen (Heim) Hangen of North Miami Beach, Florida, a son John Hangen of Hampton, NH, a daughter, Judy Mehr of Bedford, NH, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. SERVICES: Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue, Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday morning at 11 o’clock in St. Elizabeth Church, Bedford, NH.
