John F. Kindelan, 73, of Bedford, passed away August 31, 2010 at the Arbors in Bedford. He was born in Boston, MA on February 11, 1937, the son of Edwin and Catherine (Norton) Kindelan. He was a 1959 graduate of St. John Seminary College and also received a Masters Degree in Education in 1979 from the University of New Hampshire. From 1963 to 1971, he was a catholic priest in the Archdiocese of Boston. He also worked as the Director of Guidance for the Allenstown School District from 1980 to 1987 and then was employed as a school counselor for the Hooksett School District from 1987 until his retirement in 2003. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hiking, skiing and snowshoeing. He and his wife also traveled extensively in the US and Europe. Family members include his wife of 33 years, Barbara (Tucker) Kindelan; two brothers, Robert Kindelan of MA and Edwin Kindelan of NE; a sister, Marie Corrigan; and nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces and cousins. A Memorial Services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
