John R. Levins, 73, of Manchester, passed away at Catholic Medical Center on June 28, 2018.
He was born in Union City, NJ on August 4, 1944. John was a United States Navy veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. He attended Boston University, and worked for many years as an accountant and financial advisor. He also was an agent for the United State Treasury Department. He was named by Inc Magazine as one of the top 500 investment advisors. He was an insurance agent and real estate broker. He had been a part-time professor at Franklin Pierce College. He was predeceased by his wife, Geraldine (Cotton) Levins in 2014. He enjoyed going to the lake with his late wife and boating.
Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Manchester on Tuesday from 11 to 1 PM. A graveside committal service with military honors will follow at 2:00 PM in the NH State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen.
