JOHN JOSEPH SULLIVAN
LOWELL, MA - John Joseph Sullivan, of Lowell, MA died peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, February 12, 2012, at Saints Memorial Medical Center, in Lowell, MA. He was 51 years old.
Mr. Sullivan was born in Boston, MA on January 25, 1961, the son of John J. Sullivan of Quincy, MA and Gloria G. Sullivan of Thornton, NH.
John worked for many years as a Tire Technician for Commonwealth Tire/Discount Tire in Somerville, MA and for Direct Tire in Watertown and Peabody, MA.
He loved classic rock and spending time with family and friends.
John is survived by his parents, loving brother Sean P Sullivan of Derry, NH, his beloved sister Kathleen A Bowen and brother-in-law Raymond of Thornton, NH; sisters, Linda J. Mc Millan of Lowell, MA; Marilyn A Sullivan of Summersfield, FL; brother, James E. Stevens of Chelsea, MA; longtime companion, Wanda Barnett and her daughter Kerri-Anne, nephews, Damian,Todd, Mark, and Jay; nieces,Felicia, Robin, Jessica, Debra, Christeen, April, Sherri, Michelle and many beloved great nieces, nephews and cousins. John was predeceased by his brothers William F. Sullivan of Manchester, NH and Allen L. Kane of Columbia, SC. He will be remembered and greatly missed by his family and friends.
SERVICES: A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2012, from 2:00 – 3:00 PM at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street, corner of Union Street, in Manchester. A memorial service will follow in the funeral home at 3:00 PM.
