JOHN P. VALALSKY John P. Valalsky, 61, of Manchester, NH, died April 7, 2006 at the VA Medical Center, in Manchester, after a courageous battle with colon cancer. Mr. Valalsky was born on March 12, 1945, in New York, NY, the son of Mary (Cahill) and the late John Valalsky. He was a resident of Manchester for the past 10 years and previously residing in West Islip, NY. He was a veteran having served in the United States Army. In addition to his mother, family members include; 3 sisters, Ann Delaney, of Manchester; Mary Leclerc, of Candia; Jean Cossavella, of New Windsor, NY; a brother, Frank Valalsky, of Manchester; nieces and nephews. A memorial reception will be Sunday, April 23, from 3 5 P.M. at Phaneuf Funeral Homes, 243 Hanover Street, corner of Union Street, in Manchester. A memorial and candlelight service will be at 4 P.M. Burial will take place on Monday, 12 Noon in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, in Boscawen. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Cancer Society, 360 Route 101, Unit 501, Bedford, NH 03110, in memory of Mr. Valalsky.
