John White, 52, of 98 Fairmont Avenue, Manchester, NH, died March 27, 2002, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Hospital, Lebanon after a short illness. He was born in Cambridge, MA., on March 19, 1950, the son of Norma (Wilcox) White and the late Warren White and had been residing in Manchester. He was a self employed floor technican and was an outdoor enthusiast which included; camping, hiking, skiing, horseback riding and bicycling. John was an artist and a painter and won awards with his wood carving. Family members include two daughters, Leah Rollins of Manchester and Sarah White of Deerfield, NH., two grandsons, Erik and Tyler Rollins, both of Manchester, his mother of Manchester, three brothers, James W. White of Raymond, Dennis L. White of Manchester, NH and Gary F. White of Goffstown, NH, his longtime companion Anne-Marie Sweeney of Manchester, several nieces and nephews. SERVICES: Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue, Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. The funeral service will be held Friday morning at 9 o'clock in Mount Calvary Mausoleum Chapel.
