JOSEPH E.B. CONSTANT WINDHAM – Joseph E.B. Constant, 85, died on Sunday, March 16, 2008, at Warde Health Center, in Windham, NH. Mr. Constant was born on March 25, 1922, in Manchester, NH, the son of the late Ernest and Alexina (Lavoie) Constant. He was a life long resident of Manchester. He was veteran, having served in the United States Army, during World War II. Mr. Constant was employed at Blakes Creamery for 25 years. He later worked at the V.A. Hospital, in Manchester, until his retirement. He was a member of the American Legion, Manchester Post #79. Mr. Constant was a lifelong Red Sox fan, and enjoyed horse racing. Members of his family include; his wife of 63 years, Loraine (Turner) Constant, of Windham; 3 sons, David M. Constant, of Windham, NH; Mark J. Constant, of St. Augustine, FL; Joseph T. Constant, of Salisbury, NH; 1 sister, Beatrice B. Ranfos, of Manchester; nieces and nephews. Mr. Constant was predeceased by his infant daughter, Cheryl Ann Constant. IN HIS LIFE: Other family members include; his 2 daughter-in-laws, Kerrianne Constant, of St. Augustine, FL; Nanette B. Constant, of Windham, NH; and 3 grandchildren, Jonathan M. Constant, of Atlanta, GA; Caitlin Constant, of St. Augustine, FL; Christina M. Constant, of Windham, NH. SERVICES: A memorial gathering will be Thursday, March 20, from 12:30 – 1:30 P.M. at The Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street, corner of Union Street, in Manchester. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 PM in the funeral home. Committal prayers and military honors will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
