Joseph Czaja

Joseph Czaja, 59, passed away suddenly at his home on September 2, 2018. Born in Manchester on November 28, 1958, he was son of Ignal and Joyce (Decato) Czaja. He enjoyed 31 years of marriage with his wife, Kathleen "Teeny" (Sweeney) Czaja.

Joseph was a lifelong resident of Manchester. He worked for over 20 years at Pelmac Industries Inc, doing installation and service. He was a "jack of all trades"; he loved teaching his children his skills, and spent many hours teaching them motocross and attending their races. He was an avid Harley enthusiast, and loved taking rides on his motorcycle. He was a compassionate, loyal and devoted caregiver to his family and friends, and was a perfectionist in everything he did. Most of all, Joseph cherished time spent with his family, especially fishing with his children and grandchildren, who affectionately called him "Gramps". He was a great husband, dad, grandfather, brother, brother in law, uncle and friend.

Joseph leaves behind his wife, Kathleen Czaja of Manchester; his mother, Joyce Czaja of Manchester; his daughter, Nicole Rosario and husband Kelvin of Manchester; his son, Dave Czaja and wife Tiffany of Manchester; his sister, Cathy Moody and husband Patrick of Illinois; his brother, Dan Czaja and wife Darleen of Litchfield; his grandchildren, Jaylynne, Julian, Jocelin, Tenley, Juniel and Remi; as well as many nieces, nephews, brother and sister in laws, extended family members and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Ignal Czaja.

A memorial gathering will take place on Friday, September 7th from 2-4pm with a memorial service at 4pm at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Joseph's memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
