Joseph Paul Fournier, 79, of 203 Loudon Road, Concord, died at his home February 26, 2004. He was born in Concord, NH on July 28, 1924, the son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Lacasse) Fournier and had been a lifelong resident of this area. He was the widower of Louise Marie (Conton) Fournier who died in 1999. Mr. Fournier was a W.W. II Navy Veteran and served on the USS Missouri, he loved the Red Sox and worked for Boston-Maine Railroad for 25 years. Family members include a son, Kevin Fournier of Concord, NH, two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Paula) Gilman of Tampa, Florida and Mrs. Ronald (Anne) Skidmore of Concord, NH., five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, two brothers, Pete Fournier of Concord, NH and Jerome Fournier of San Francisco, California, many nieces, nephews and cousins. SERVICES: Relatives and friends are welcomed to attend committal services for Mr. Fournier at the NH State Veteran Cemetery, Boscawen, NH on Monday morning at 11 oclock.
