Joseph (Joe) N. Germano, 83, passed into eternal rest on July 17, 2023, peacefully in his sleep. He was born to Nicholas and Alice (Sabetto) Germano in Cleveland, OH. He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Joann (Principe) Germano; daughter Aleece Germano and Simon of San Francisco, CA; daughter Joselle Presby, Thaddeus, and their five children of Franconia, NH; brother Nicholas Germano and Maureen of Chardon, OH; and sister Blue Germano of Mayfield Heights, OH.

He graduated from Bowling Green University in Ohio in 1961, was a member of the Sigma Nu fraternity, and was the first in his family to obtain a college degree. Joe worked as a sales representative, and later a senior manager, for International Harvester (now Navistar) in Missouri, Illinois, and Massachusetts. In 1978, he became President of Liberty International Trucks in Manchester, NH, which he owned and operated until his retirement in 2000.
During retirement, Joe loved spending time with his grandchildren, family, and community. He volunteered for many NH organizations, including the Blessed Sacrament Food Pantry of Manchester, a minor seminary of the Legionaries of Christ in Center Harbor, and Good Neighbor Food Pantry in Franconia.
He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Parish in Manchester until he moved to Franconia, 9 years ago, when he joined St. Rose of Lima Parish. As a member of the Knights of Columbus, he was a cherished friend of many.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 22 at 10:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, 10 Elm Street, in Manchester, NH.
