JOSEPH PAUL LARRIVEE
LITTLETON, NH -- Joseph (Paul) Larrivee, 87, of Bryant Street, died Friday afternoon, April 19, 2019 at the Lafayette Nursing home in Franconia.
Mr. Larrivee was born in (Pattenville) Littleton on August 22, 1931, the son of Arsene and Florida Larrivee. He was raised in Littleton, where he attended local schools.
He was in the Navy during the Korean War. After the service he was employed at the Connors and Hoffman shoe factory for a few years. He moved to Massachusetts and was employed at Stride Rite and then at Footjoy Shoe. He was a machinist for many years until he retired.
He enjoyed his rose bushes and spending time with family.
Surviving family members include his six children; Jon (Linda) Larrivee, Lennie Larrivee, Paula (Stephen) Pelletier, Sara (Sid) Walker, Joe (Jennifer) Larrivee, Laurie Vargas; sixteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren, five brothers and one sister; Albert (Jean) Larrivee, Arthur (Donna) Larrivee, Armand (Jackie) Larrivee, Maurice (Belinda)Larrivee, Florence Walters and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife of 20 years June (Lowrey) Larrivee, who passed away in 2015 and will be interned at the same time as him. Siblings; Gerard Larrivee, Luke Larrivee, Lucien (Buckie) Larrivee and one grandson Barry Smith.
