JOSEPH ROGER "ROCKY" MEUNIER
LITTLETON, NH -- Joseph Roger "Rocky" Meunier (89) passed away on November 28, 2018 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Hanover NH, after a long illness.
Roger was born in Groveton NH on June 23, 1929, to Philippe Meunier and Louisanna MacLure. He was the oldest of 9 children. He graduated from Groveton High School in 1947. Roger married Elizabeth Lehan of Littleton, NH on July 4, 1951 and they were married for 67 years.
He enlisted in the Army in January 1951 and was stationed in GA, NJ and Germany. He served in the Air Defense Artillery as a radar man. He was honorably discharged in February 1954.
Roger was predeceased in death by both parents, his brothers; Hector, Leo, Lucien and one sister Lucy. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth, 1 daughter; Deborah (Andrew) and 4 sons; Michael (Cindy), Dennis (Loretta), Patrick (Patricia), Daniel (Kathy), 1 brother Wilfred (Rose) of Minot, ME, 2 sisters Alice Major of Island Pond, VT and Irene Roy of Lancaster NH, 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

SERVICES â A Mass of Christian Rite will be held on Friday, December 7, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the St. Rose of Lima Church with The Very Reverend Mark E. Dollard as Celebrant. Burial will be in the NH State Veteran's Cemetery in Boscawen.
