Joseph R. Moffatt

Joseph Robert Moffatt, 81, of Bedford, passed away at his home on August 20, 2024. Joe was born in Lawrence, MA and lived most of his life in Bedford.

Joe was a graduate of Merrimack College and worked many years at Kollsman Inc before retiring as Vice President of Operations. Joe was an avid sportsman. In his retirement, he spent his days doing what he most enjoyed – weekly deep sea fishing trips, annual hunting trips, and spending cherished time with his family.

Joe leaves behind his loving wife of 62 years Donna (Makris) Moffatt; his son Rob of Auburn; daughter Pam Moriarty and her husband Ed of Florida; granddaughters, Elizabeth Byers and her husband Ryan of Pennsylvania, and Katie Cohen and her husband Andy of Minnesota; and great-granddaughter Ellie Cohen. Also survived by his brothers, Tom and Jim Moffatt of Haverhill, MA.
