Joseph C. Wilkes

Joseph C. Wilkes, 63, of Manchester died March 18, 2006 at the Elliot Hospital following a period of declining health. Mr. Wilkes was born on November 29, 1942 in Somerville, MA the son of the late Ralph and Carmela (Bonanno) Wilkes. He was a US Marine veteran who served during the Vietnam Conflict. Mr. Wilkes was a finance manager in the automobile industry for many years in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. He was a devoted husband and loving father. Family members include; his wife of 23 years, Donna (Bell) Wilkes; a son, Christopher Wilkes and his wife, Eileen of Reading, MA; two daughters, Holly Wilkes of Manchester and Kirsten Wilkes of Weymouth, MA; a granddaughter, Megan; two brothers, John Wilkes of Melrose, MA and James Wilkes of Brockton, MA; a sister, Valerie Hall of Andover, MA; and several nieces and nephews. A private burial service will be held at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
