Joshua Michael Breault

Joshua Michael Breault, 46, of Manchester, NH, passed away at his home on May 14, 2024. Born in Manchester, NH on March 2, 1978, he was the son of Michel Breault and Ellen Mercedes. He shared 21 years of marriage with his wife, Hilary Breault.

Joshua was raised in Manchester and attended Manchester Memorial High School. He proudly served 18 years of active duty in the United States Army. Most recently, he worked in logistics with the New Hampshire Space Force. He was a Scout Leader for Troop 106 for 13 years. Josh loved fishing, camping, and spending time with family, friends, and the Boy Scouts. He was very involved with scouting and was a beloved leader, friend, and mentor to many. Josh worked with his son and so many other scouts to help them achieve the highly respected and honored Eagle Scout rank. Josh was on all the scout trips and was a face you always expected to see. Together they traveled, camped, explored the US and Canada, and held a yearly Christmas tree fundraiser.

Josh enjoyed taking his daughter to concerts and theater shows. He encouraged and supported her as she worked towards and achieved the crazy goals she set for herself.

Many people looked up to Joshua for friendship, guidance, and assistance. He will be dearly missed by all.

Joshua is survived by his wife, Hilary Breault; his two children, Halie Breault and Jaden Breault and his girlfriend Madison Fuller; his mother, Ellen Mercedes; his father, Michel Breault; his brother, Jason Breault; his grandfather, Lucien Breault; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Walter and Betty Byrd and Raymonde Breault; and his stepfather, Tony Mercedes.

Joshua will be laid to rest with a graveside service at 9:00AM on Wednesday, May 22 at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH. A Celebration of Life will follow.
