JOYCE MAY NOYES
WHITEFIELD, NH -- Joyce May Noyes was born to Roy and Persis Barker on July 4, 1940. Her early years were spent among family and extended relatives in the Meriden and Enfield areas of New Hampshire. She graduated from Enfield High School and soon married her husband, Russell Noyes who was also a native of Enfield. Much of the first half of their life together Joyce was a full-time homemaker and mother. It was truly her vocation and she did it lovingly and with great attention.
In August of 1983, she and her husband moved to Littleton, New Hampshire where they spent the remaining years of their life together. Shortly after moving to Littleton, she became employed by Kindercenter, a child care facility where she joyously worked with children for many years. After retiring from Kindercenter, she became very active in the Littleton Area Senior Center, the Durrell United Methodist Church and the Littleton United Methodist Church. Joyce loved to read, go for rides with her husband and listen and dance to music. It was her love of dancing that got her the nickname of "wiggles" at the Littleton Area Senior Center.
Following the death of her husband in 2014, Joyce was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. She was lovingly cared for by the staff at the Morrison Nursing Home for the balance of her life. After a period of gradual decline, she returned home to the Lord she loved so much.
Joyce is survived by her brother Fred Barker and his wife Sandra of Enfield, her daughter Sherri Sinclair of Milford, her granddaughter Nicole Sinclair-Blodgett of Lebanon and her son Stephen Noyes and his wife Linda of Bethlehem, New Hampshire.
SERVICES -- Her Funeral Service and Celebration of Life will take place on February ninth at 10 AM at the Littleton United Methodist with Reverend Shannon Keeney officiating.
