Judith “Judy” Joyce (Clement) Pratte, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, departed this world on October 2nd, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and joy that touched all who knew her. Born on August 16, 1940 in Manchester, NH, Judith was the cherished daughter of Roland and Antoinette Clement, who instilled in her the values of love and community.
Judy’s life was a tapestry of laughter, celebration and love. She graduated from Pembroke Academy and furthered her education at Hesser College, embarking on a journey that would see her influence countless lives with her charismatic personality and infectious joy. Known for her witty remarks and a knack for bringing people together, Judy was the life of every party, leaving a trail of cherished memories in her wake.
Her family was the cornerstone of her life. Predeceased by her first husband, John Kosiba, Judy later found love again with Henry Pratte, with whom she shared 47 beautiful years. Together, they created a home filled with love and laughter, nurturing a family that would grow and thrive under their guidance.
Judy is survived by her devoted children: daughter Kim (Pratte) Boule and her husband Jeffrey Boule, son Kevin Pratte and his wife Debbie Pratte, and son Todd Pratte. Her spirit of love and life live on in her five grandchildren – Alexandra Finch, Tyler Boule, Christopher Pratte, James Pratte, and Alysha Pratte - and her ten great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and pride. She is also survived by her niece, Sherri Hammis, and nephew, Scott Clement.
Though predeceased by her parents and her brother Roland Clement, Judy’s memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her absence leaves a void in the hearts of many, but the legacy of love and laughter will endure through the stories and memories shared by her family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to gather beginning at 10:00AM on Tuesday, October 13th at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester. A Memorial Service to honor and celebrate Judy’s life will be held in the funeral home at 10:30AM, followed by a graveside prayer service at Pine Grove Cemetery, 765 Brown Ave, Manchester.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Judy’s memory to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s research (https://www.michaeljfox.org/), continuing her legacy of kindness and generosity.
As we gather to remember Judith Joyce Pratte, we celebrate a life well-lived and a woman who embodied the very essence of love and joy. Her spirit will forever guide us, reminding us to find delight in life’s simplest pleasures and to cherish the moments spent with loved ones.
