Juliana I. (Mockus) Gauthier, 97, formerly of 955 Montgomery Street, died October 7, 2006 at St. Theresa Manor. She was born in Chicago, IL on February 1, 1909, the daughter of Anton and Pauline (Kimas) Mockus and has been a Manchester resident since 1940. She had worked for the Delphian Society in Chicago for a number of years. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed crafts. She was a long-time parishioner of St. Patrick Church. She was the widow of Maxime L. Gauthier who died in 1985. Family members include two sons, Robert Gauthier of Manchester and Martin Gauthier of FL; two daughters, Mrs. James ( Maxine) Barry of Abington, MA and Juliana Worthington of Manchester; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren; and many nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue on Tuesday from 5 to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday morning at 10:00 in St. Patrick Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
