Julie Ann Lacourse

Julie Ann (Longchamp) Lacourse, born on December 27, 1945, passed away after a life filled with devotion to family, adventure, and quiet craftsmanship. 

She married Denis Joseph Lacourse on August 17, 1985, beginning a partnership rooted in love, companionship, and shared exploration. Julie leaves behind her two children, Christine and Stacey, as well as four step-children; Denis Jr., Scott, Lezanne, and Jeremy; along with their spouses and significant others. Her family grew across generations, blessing her with ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, each carrying forward her warmth and spirit. 

Julie is survived by her sister, Jane, and is predeceased by her sister, Yvonne, her brother Robert, and her parents Arthur and Jeannette. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who will remember her kindness, humor, and steady presence. 

A proud member of the first graduating class of Bishop Brady, Julie embraced life with curiosity and courage. She and Denis shared a love for the outdoors; camping, fishing, hiking, and backpacking; and they sailed Lake Winnipesaukee, the East Coast of Maine, and the Intercoastal Waterway, collecting memories on every horizon.

Her hands were gifted and patient; Julie was proficient in Swedish weaving and known for her beloved brownies, treats that became small traditions within her family. 

Julie's life was one of generosity, resilience, and simple joys. Her legacy lives on in the people she loved, the adventures she embraced, and the traditions she passed down.
