LITTLETON, NH â Julien L. Fournier, a longtime resident of Littleton, passed away peacefully on June 4th, 2014 at the age of 82 surrounded by his family.
Julien was born January 7th, 1932, to Alphonse and Sara-Rash Fournier. He graduated from the Thompson School of Applied Science in Durham, NH in 1953. Julien then served his country in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955, serving in Korea for 14 months and was Honorably Discharged in 1955. He worked for Nynex for over 35 years until his retirement.
Julien was predeceased by his wife of 36 years in 1998, Irene (Whittier) Fournier along with his parents, nine brothers and five sisters.
Julien is survived by his four children and their families: son Phillip and wife Cheryl Fournier of Littleton (Christine, Miranda, Stephanie, Wayne, Lilly, and Charles), daughter Jeanette and husband Mike Boylan of Littleton, daughter Elizabeth and husband Chris Smas of Newmarket NH, and son Edward and wife Marjorie Fournier of Greenfield Center, NY (Evan and Olivia).
Julien was a long time worshipper of the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.
SERVICES â A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Rose of Lima Church on July 25, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in the St. Rose Cemetery.
