Mrs. Juliette "Julie" Auger, 96, of Manchester died July 4, 2008 at Harborside Northwood in Bedford following a period of declining health. She was born on March 23, 1912 in Manchester, NH the daughter of the late Hycinthe and Marie Anna (Demers) Glaude. She was raised and educated in Manchester. Mrs. Auger was a lifelong resident of Manchester. She had worked in the textile mills at Manchester Knitted Mills for twelve years. She had also worked in the dining room at St. Anselm College for thirteen years before she retired. Julie was a very talented, skilled and giving person. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and ceramics. Julie was making afghans while at Harborside for many of her fellow residents and the nursing staff as well. She was a wonderful cook. She was a member of the Red Hat Society. Julie was a communicant of the Parish of the Transfiguration. She helped her parish by cooking for the bereavement meals at the church. She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Henault of Manchester, 2 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; brother, Adelard Glaude of Maine and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Ferdinand Auger who died November 2, 1979, her daughter, Constance Auger and her son Robert Auger. In Her Life: She is also survived by her son-in-law, Richard Henault of Manchester; 2 grandchildren, Brenda Gagnon and her husband Dr. David Gagnon of Lino Lake, Minnesota and Scott Henault and his wife Denise of Hooksett; 4 great grandchildren, Nicole Gagnon, Julie Gagnon, Jessica Henault and Mark Boulanger and her great great grandson Logan Boulanger. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Calling Hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 250 Coolidge Ave, Manchester on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00AM at the Parish of the Transfiguration, Manchester, Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Donations in Juliette's name can be made to Harborside Northwood, 30 Colby Court, Bedford, NH 03110.
