Juliette Claire Hamill, 100, born July 10, 1918, passed away on October 10, 2018 at St. Teresa Health and Rehabilitation Center after a brief illness. Before becoming a full time homemaker, she worked in Manchester as a legal secretary and for the FHA. She was a woman of deep faith and strong courage in facing life's challenges. She enjoyed family photo albums, playing the piano or guitar and reading. She loved life and always loved being with her family whether by phone calls, visits or family gatherings.
She was predeceased by her husband, Warren C Hamill and son Douglas Hamill.
She is survived by her brother, Arthur of Manchester, NH and sister Theresa of Pensacola, FL; two daughters, Theresa McKenney of Barrington, NH and Catherine Burge of Nashville, TN; two sons, Warren Hamill of Austin TX, and Gary Hamill of Bedford, NH. She also had 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The family expresses deep gratitude for the loving care she received from everyone in her years at St. Teresa's.
Calling hours will be 10am-11:30am on Friday, October 12th at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH. A Mass of Resurrection will follow the calling hours at 12pm at St. Catherine of Siena Parish, 207 Hemlock Street, Manchester, NH. She will be laid to rest at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
