Juliette (Prince) Pepin, age 97, died on June 12 in Manchester. A lifelong resident of Manchester, she was the widow of Roger Pepin who died in 1979.
She was born December 31, 1913 in Manchester, the daughter of Albert and Eglantine (Allard) Prince. She was a member of Sacred Heart Parish. Before retiring, Juliette was employed at McGraw-Edison and previously owned and operated a neighborhood grocery store with her husband Roger.
Juliette is survived by her sister Marie Eglantine (Prince) Browher of Meredith and many nieces and nephews.
IN HER LIFE: Juliette âAunt Julieâ was the social center of her large extended family. Brothers, sisters and numerous nieces and nephews enjoyed her cheerful hospitality each Sunday at her lakeside camp at Uncanoonuc Mountain. She loved family, cooking and entertaining and was happiest serving up BBQ for a crowd at camp, or her famous Pork Pie on Christmas. Aunt Julie blessed her many nieces and nephews with a lifetime of happy memories.
In later life, Juliette was a resident at St. Teresaâs Health Care in Manchester, where she was treated by caring professionals in the company of friends for 5 years.
She is pre-deceased by sisters Rachel (Prince) Rousseau and Laurette (Prince) Dupont, and her brothers Germain Prince, Lucien Prince and Roland prince, all formerly of Manchester.
Services: Calling hours are at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester on Wednesday from 4-8PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 265 South Main St, Manchester. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to St. Teresaâs Health Care, Resident Activity Fund, 519 Bridge St., Manchester NH 03103.
