June E. Hemeon

June E. Hemeon, 76, of West Roxbury, MA passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2017 at Concord Hospice House in Concord, NH.
June is survived by her brother Harry Hemeon; sisters Thelma Hemeon and Barbara Nickoles; her nieces Stacy Pratts and Amber Youngblood; her nephew Jason Trammell; and her many great nephews and great nieces. June worked for the phone company in Boston for 34 years until her retirement. After retirement she spent a great deal of the past 25 years playing tennis, doing yoga, and Zumba with many of her friends from Dedham Health and Athletic Club. While June never married or had children, she did care for her family, especially her nieces and nephew with the love of a mother. She lived her life with strength, integrity, sacrifice, laughter, and worked hard to ensure the happiness of those she loved.
Per her request a memorial service will be held in the spring. Donations may be made in her name to the Hospice House, c/o Concord Regional VNA, 30 Pillsbury Street, Concord, N.H. 03301.
