June Ouellette, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, peacefully passed away on September 27, 2023 in Manchester, NH. She was surrounded by her loving family as she succumbed to a long illness. June was born on December 18, 1938 in Auburn, ME to the late Albert Martin & Evelyn Morse (Carr). She was one of five siblings, with two brothers and two sisters.
June had a fulfilling career working for over 15 years as a secretary for the IRS. However, her proudest accomplishments were found within her family. June met her husband George when she was just 17 years old at the roller skating rink, and their love story lasted for an incredible 64 years. They provided the ultimate example of what marriage should be to their three children, and were partners and best friends until the very end.
Family was truly the heart of June's life. She packed all of her love for her family and cherished every moment spent with them. June loved being surrounded by the people she cared about most and was known for her generosity and kindness. Her social nature allowed her to effortlessly make anyone feel welcome in her presence.
In addition to her career and family life, June had many hobbies that brought joy to her life. She enjoyed crafting and painting ceramics which left behind many cherished family heirlooms. Knitting scarves became another one of June's passions as she poured love into each stitch. An avid reader for many years, she found solace in books and the stories they held. June also had a passion for traveling which allowed her to deepen connections with loved ones while exploring new places. Above all else, her love for her family was unmatched, and her grandchildren were truly the lights of her life. She found immense joy in watching her family grow, and her pride swelled with each passing generation. June leaves behind five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren who will forever cherish the memories they shared together.
June has joined her parents, two brothers and two sisters in heaven. She is survived by her husband George Ouellette; son Russell Ouellette and his wife Charlene; daughter Lisa Malfait and her husband Patrick; son Bryan Ouellette; grandchildren Bryan Jr. and his wife Amanda, Liam and his wife Kaeleigh, Jessica, Carley & Ryan; and great-grandchildren Beckett & Bodie.
