Karin Landry, 62, of Hooksett, died at her home November 1, 2001. She was born in Berlin, Germany on February 12, 1939, the daughter of the late Johannes and Kathe (Wolf) Zunker and had been a resident of the Manchester and Hooksett communities since 1962. She was the widow of Maurice Landry who died in 1994. Karin was a waitress for many years with the 88 Restaurant and also many years with the Chateau Restaurant. She loved flowers and was very proud of her heritage. Family members include two sons, Michael Landry of Bristol, Connecticut and Eric Landry of Hooksett, a daughter Mrs. John (Regina) Dybowski of Ashford, Connecticut, two grandchildren, four brothers, Hans Zunker, Klaus Zunker, Rainer Zunker and step brother Detlef Hensel, three sisters, Eva Zunker, Vera Bratts and Gabrielle Arndt, all of Germany, several nieces, nephews and cousins. SERVICES: Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Sunday from 4 to 8 PM. Her funeral service will be at the funeral home Monday morning at 10 o'clock with Reverend Gary Rolph, officiating. After cremation, burial will follow in Martins Ferry Cemetery, Hooksett.
