Katherine Little

Katherine (Vasil) Little, 70, of 50 Devco Drive, died October 7, 2004 at the Elliot Hospital. She was born in Manchester on June 12, 1934, the daughter of George and Efthemia Vasil and had been a resident of the city for most of her life. She had been a legal secretary for most of her career until her recent retirement. She was a wonderful “Nana” to her grandchildren and loved to spend countless hours at the beach. Although petite in size, her presence was large, being a very independent and strong woman. She was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Family members include two daughters, Tracy Terrio of Manchester and Stephanie Simpson of Candia; a son, Scott Little of Goffstown; five grandchildren; two sisters, Bess Smith of Manchester and Mary Demetri of Augusta, ME; and nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Monday from 5 to 8 PM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday morning at 10:00 in St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. George Building Fund, 650 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH 03104.
