KATHERINE A. MICHAUD
BETHLEHEM, NH Katherine A. Michaud, age 61, a child of God and loving sister of Christ Jesus, left here peacefully to be with her loving Lord on June 25, 2009 at her home at mid-morning in the care of her husband.
Katherine was born on July 20, 1947 in Lewiston, ME, a daughter of John H. and Dorothy (Morin) Langley. At the age of six, her family moved to Bridgeport, CT where she attended schools through the 10th grade. The family moved to Milford, CT where she graduated from Milford high School.
Katherine pursued a career in the secretarial field as a top notch secretary to several offices including Yale New Haven Hospital. She later earned a certificate as a Nursing Assistant and worked at a three doctor office for several years.
Katherine married her husband, J. Albert W. Michaud on November 21, 1980, and lived with their five children in Milford, CT until 1990, and then moved to Bethlehem. Katherine worked in SAUs in Whitfield and Littleton for several years, and held secretarial positions in other offices in the Littleton area including Dr. William Lakeys office for several years, until she was diagnosed with fibromyalgia followed shortly thereafter by LDL Leukemia.
Surviving family members include her husband, Al Michaud of Bethlehem, NH; two daughters, Lorraine R. DePalmer of Lisbon, NH, and Penny E. Hart of Holiday, FL; two other daughters, Arlene L Mader of Dalton, GA, and Suzanne C. Normoile of Crompond, NY; a son, Albert J. Michaud of Fitchburg, MA; eleven grandchildren, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
SERVICES Callings hours will be held on Tuesday, June 30th from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Pillsbury Funeral Home located at 101 Union Street in Littleton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 1st at St. Rose of Lima Church at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Marcel Martel as Celebrant. Burial will follow in the St. Rose Cemetery.
