Katherine Vitiello

KATHERINE VITIELLO Katherine (Fandel) Vitiello, 59, of Manchester, NH, died Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at her residence in Manchester. Born on November 30, 1949, in Boston, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Veronica (Wall) Fandel. She was a resident of Boston for most of her life, only residing in Manchester for the past year. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Vitiello was employed as a medical transcriptionist, at Lemuel Shattuck Hospital, in Boston, MA. Mrs. Vitiello enjoyed reading and crocheting. She also was a great admirer of butterflies. Members of her family include; 2 sons, John P. Vitiello, of Norton, MA; Michael Vitiello, of Manchester; 2 daughters, Cathryn Villante, of Manchester; Angela M. Vitiello, of Boston, MA; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, her twin brother, Paul Fandel, of Walpole, MA; Robert J. Fandel, of South Carolina; 1 sister, June Fandel, also of South Carolina; many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Monday, October 19, 2009 from 4 – 8 P.M. at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street, corner of Union Street, in Manchester. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, 11 AM in the funeral home chapel. Committal prayers and burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Manchester.
