KATHLEEN DORRITY

BETHLEHEM, NH – Kathleen Dorrity, 53, passed away unexpectedly after a short illness at her home on November 14, 2016.

Kathy was born in Kyoto, Japan on July 20th, 1963. The daughter of Sachiko and the late Gordan Dorrity of Brockton, Massachusetts. She moved with her family to the United States as a young girl and attended schools in Massachusetts, graduating from Brockton High School and Northeastern University.

For the last 12 years Kathy lived in Bethlehem, New Hampshire and worked as a Merchandise Buyer for Garnett Hill in Franconia. Prior to Garnett Hill, Kathy had worked for the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. Always loyal and considerate, she enjoyed most spending time with good friends, cooking, shopping and having a hearty laugh. Her friendship was a treasure and her taste in fashion, humor and decor were impeccable.

She is survived by her mother, Sachiko Dorrity of Brockton, MA; a cousin Rose Dwyer of Cropwell, Alabama; a cousin Kevin Wythe of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and an Uncle Kimito and Aunt Mieko Tomita of Beppu Japan. She was the niece of the late Takako and Henry Corvera of Fayetteville, North Carolina.

SERVICES -- A Memorial Service will be held at Pillsbury Phaneuf Funeral Home, located at 101 Union Street in Littleton on Friday, December 2nd at 3pm. Funeral Services will be held in Brockton, Massachusetts later this month.
