EASTON, NH ---- Kathleen Elizabeth Young, 85, of Sugar Hill Rd., passed away peacefully Saturday, March 1, 2003 after a long illness at Littleton Regional Hospital surrounded by her family.
Kathleen (Dibby) was born a daughter to Rachel and Herbert Parker on March 8, 1917 in Fort Fairfield, Maine. She lived most of her life in West Hartford, CT before moving to Easton, NH in 1999 with her husband, Cecil A. Young, to the home of their daughter and son-in-law, Judy and John Day.
Kathleen was predeceased by her husband, Cecil Atwood Young, and her six siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Judy Y. Day, and son-in-law, John G. Day, her granddaughter, Leah P. Van Meter, her husband, Guy A. Van Meter and her great grand-son, Cole Brigham Van Meter all of Marblehead, Mass.
SERVICES: There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, March 6, 2003 at 11 AM at Our Lady of the Snow Catholic Church, Main Street, Franconia, NH with Rev. Father Charles Chase as celebrant.
