Kathy A. (Klop) Bennett, 63, of Deerfield, passed away at her residence on June 1, 2021 surrounded by her family.
She was born in Manchester on January 3, 1958, the daughter of John and Frances (Lavoie) Klop. Kathy worked at the Puritan Backroom in Manchester for 39 years.
She loved her daughter more than anything in this world and treasured their time together on Northwood Lake with their family, friends and her Irish Setter, Penny. She loved her boat rides, picking blueberries & baking her blueberry buckle, making bread, reading and enjoying life. She had a special fondness for the wildlife on the lake and watching her vegetable garden grow. Kathy always put others before herself. She reminded us that others could use our help and unused belongings and would work with her friends to get food, shelter and clothing for fire victims, people in need or those just getting settled in the Manchester area.
Family members include her daughter, Haley Proulx of Deerfield; her mother of Deerfield, three sisters, Donna K. Lencki of Candia, Jackie Sweet of Centerville, VA; and Karen Logan and her husband Scott of Eliot, ME; a brother, John Klop of Manchester; nieces and nephews, Andi and Tyler and their son Wilder, Ian, Garret, Ryan, Cameron, and Jonathan; along with uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends.
To celebrate Kathy, an outdoor Memorial Service & Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 12th from 1 to 4 PM at Old Fields Farm, 403 New Boston Road, Candia.
A private service will follow at sunset on Northwood Lake in Deerfield. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kathy's memory to either Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance at https://ocrahope.org or Families in Transition at https://newhorizonsnh.org. Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Manchester, is in charge of arrangements.
