Kay H. (Harper) McGinnis, 73, of Manchester, NH and formerly of San Antonio TX, died at Harborside Northwood Heath Care Facility on October 17, 2006.
She was born in El Dorado, IL on May 24, 1933, the daughter of Kent and Fleda (Howe) Harper. She was a professional artist and belonged of St. Lukeâs Anglican Church in Amherst where she was active member of the Alter Guild and the Womenâs Club. She will be remembered as a talented artist, loving wife, mother and grandmother, and a devout Christian.
Family members include her husband of 34 years, the Reverend William R. McGinnis; a son, Frederick W. McGinnis of San Antonio, TX; five daughters, Bonny Miller of Ft. Worth, TX, Lynette Goss of Warner, NH, Charlotte Blowers of Black Canyon City, AZ, Shannon Swanson of Springfield, MO and Donna Martin of Prescott Valley, ZA; eight grandchildren; a sister, Charlotte Northcutt of Boerne, TX; and nephews, nieces and cousins.
A memorial service will take place on Sunday afternoon at 2:00 PM in St. Lukeâs Anglican Church, 3 Limbo Lane, Amherst, NH. After the service, she will be flown to San Antonio, TX where a graveside service will take place on Thursday morning at 10:00 at Fort Sam Houston National Veterans Cemetery.
