Keith Caswell, 67, of Bedford, New Hampshire transitioned to the next life on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, New Hampshire, with his wife and daughter at his side.
He was born on March 21, 1958, in Lynn, Massachusetts, the son of Kenneth and Jean (Hutton) Caswell. Keith was the loving husband of Heidi (Cheever) Caswell and the adored father of Jenna Caswell.
Keith was predeceased by his son Sam Caswell and now joins him in heaven. He leaves behind his brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, and many treasured friends.
Keith was a family man first, ALWAYS. Although he didn't wear his heart on his sleeve, he was the kindest, most loving and giving person, and you knew how loved you were by him. He cared about strangers, and would do anything and everything for those he loved, which extended from his family to his large group of close knit friends. He always did for others whenever he could, because acts of service and kindness were definitely his love language.
Keith grew up in Saugus, Massachusetts where he met his wife Heidi, and after buying their first home in Wilmington they settled in Bedford, New Hampshire where he resided for the past twenty six years. Keith was a deacon at the Bedford Presbyterian Church for a number of years, and went on three mission trips with the church to rebuild after hurricanes. He worked at Verizon for 34 years, his later years as an engineer. After retiring he did indoor painting with a close friend for five years.
He could fix absolutely anything and everything, and if he had questions he youtubed it, and perfected it. He loved to garden and landscape (neighbors told him all the time that he had the best looking yard in the neighborhood). He also enjoyed designing bonsai plants, golfing, driving his mustang, going to the beach, and cooking. His culinary skills were unmatched and he could have been a chef at a Michelin Star Restaurant. He will most be remembered for his unwavering love and devotion to his wife and two children.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday October 18th from 10 am to 1 pm at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematoriums located at 243 Hanover St. Manchester, NH 03104. A memorial service will follow at 2 pm at the Bedford Presbyterian Church located at 4 Church Rd. Bedford, NH 03110.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a memorial contribution to the MPS Society at mpssociety.org. This is the fatal disease his son battled for years
